Deputy Minister-Designate for Transport, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has refuted claims that she is not approachable or friendly. Appearing before Parliament’s Appointments Committee on Friday, July 25, for her vetting, Madam Affo-Toffey said such perceptions do not reflect her true personality. “I really don’t know; then of course, they really don’t know me. Anybody who knows me knows that I’m affable, loving and caring, and it translates into whatever I do,” She said. She added that her constituents can attest to her humility and accessibility. “Even in my constituency [Jomoro], they know me to be a down-to-earth person. So I know that I will work very well at the Ministry [Transport] I’m going to,” she added confidently.
